Planning for your goals

Once you have your goals established you need to make out a plan. It helps to know where you want to end up and then work backwards on how to get there in small easy steps. It makes it easier to track progress that way and you can make changes as you go if things aren't working out as planned. Being able to track progress is an important part of the process it keeps you motivated and helps you figure out what works and what doesn't. Keeping a type of journal on what you have tried and the results also is a big help. When you write out your steps do it so you can cross them off as you go as well. Seeing your progress getting closer to your goal helps to keep you going and the closer you get to the end the more motivation you should get.

Tip 2

Ever heard of a dream board? Start one using a cork board you can post stuff on. Write a goal down using my step one in your writing and post it on the board. You can also use pictures of a goal if it is a house or vacation somewhere or an item like a bike or car. This keeps everything in visual sight for you and helps to keep you on track to reach your goals. Each day have a look at it which help if you keep it somewhere you are most of the time so you view it each and everyday. You may be surprised one day you may wake up and look at it and realize that you've achieved most if not all of the goals on your board. Try it it works.

Tips I've learnt for reaching your goals

Tip 1 write your goals down on a sheet of paper. Make sure you write them down as you have already acheived them.Eg. I am happy now that I am making $5,000 a month.

What this does is gives you ownership of your goal and gets you thinking in a way that you already have it. Making your goals a reality for yourself makes it much easier to achieve your goals. If you can visualize what your life would be like when you achieve your goals it takes a lot of the stresses and negative thought out that can come up while trying to achieve your goal and making it a reality for yourself.
